The youth representatives visited the main control room of the AMS Data Center, laboratories and other facilities of SDIAT on site. They had in-depth exchanges with researchers, gaining detailed insights into the construction of the institute’s scientific research platforms, the progress of research projects, its participation in international large-scale scientific projects, the development of a world-leading cosmic ray public scientific database, and a series of breakthrough achievements in cosmic ray origin research. The representatives highly praised the institute’s research work and open attitude, and truly felt the vigorous vitality of China’s scientific and technological innovation and the broad space for international cooperation.

The youth representatives unanimously stated that the visit and research were highly rewarding and inspiring. They not only experienced the charm of cutting-edge scientific research up close, but also felt the great potential for cooperation among SCO countries in the field of science and technology. In the future, they will actively serve as envoys for scientific and technological exchanges among young people from various countries, take the initiative to share their observations and insights from this visit, promote in-depth interactions between their own countries and China as well as other SCO countries in areas such as youth innovation and scientific research collaboration, and contribute youthful strength to promoting the common development of SCO countries.

The SCO Youth Exchange Camp is a flagship project in the youth field under the SCO framework. Initiated personally by President Xi, it has been successfully held nine times since 2016. It has built an important platform for young people from SCO countries to enhance friendship, achieve common development, and promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
