Particle Physics Research Center
The Particle Physics Research Center mainly performs research on particle physics and astroparticle physics with large scientific facilities, aiming to establish a leading position in the field of space particle detection. Based on the AMS experiment led by Nobel Laureate Prof. Samuel C.C. Ting, the center explores dark matter, antimatter, and the origin of cosmic rays, while also developing space particle radiation forecasting and early warning systems. Additionally, it engages in cutting-edge technology research, including silicon detectors, cryogenic superconducting detectors, etc., accumulating experience in large-scale scientific projects. Its ultimate goal is to propose and organize new large-scale experiments to investigate the fundamental structure of matter and the basic laws of the universe.
