200+ scholars were invited to international conferences.

Exchange with International Renowned Researchers

We recognize the importance of international scientific exchanges and actively create frameworks to facilitate them. Each year, we send researchers and engineers on long- and short-term academic visits to research institutes worldwide, broadening their academic horizons and enhancing their research capabilities. Some of our researchers visit CERN to participate in international mega scientific projects, collaborating with top scientists and international teams. Others work at institutes such as the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP) and the Suzhou Institute of Nanotechnology and Nano-bionics (SINANO), contributing to projects related to the AMS upgrade.

Conferences sparking international exchange

International academic conference is an important channel for scientists to outreach, allowing them to share their own research on the international platform, raise academic visibility and gain valuable insights into the work of their peers. International conferences enable SDIAT and our scientists to remain at the forefront of scientific advancement, while solidifying our position as an international hub for excellent research. So far, a total of 96 SDIAT scientists have been invited for oral presentations, showcasing our steadily growing international influence.

International Guest Program

A part of the support infrastructure offered by SDIAT

SDIAT brings top-level international experts to the networking in Shandong Province. Implementing a vibrant  guest program is a core element of our collaboration strategy. Strengthening the stream of prominent scientists who come here for short- and long-term visits contributes to promoting international collaborations.  Furthermore, it raises the visibility of basic research in Shandong Province and supports junior researchers in building their own international research network.
