Opening Lectures
Our opening lectures feature inter- disciplinary talks given by outstanding international scientists from all over the world, covering topics spanning all SDIAT research units. The main goal is to create a framework for an exchange of ideas, deepen links with leading research groups worldwide, and act as an integral part of the local educational offers. The public talks, which attract up to 1000 audiences, promote discussions on basic research topics, emphasizing its wider significance for society and potential impact on future technologies. Moreover, the conference and specialized seminar help inspire new thoughts and ideas within the SDIAT research community, strengthen the internal network of our researchers and students, and help them establish international cooperation.
