On September 3rd, Shuai Wang, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Jinan Lingang Economic Development Zone, led a delegation to visit Shandong Institute of Advanced Technology(SDIAT). Qingkui Zhao, Member of the Party Committee and Secretary-General of SDIAT, accompanied the visit.

Shuai Wang and the delegation toured AMS Global Data Center and laboratories. They gained a detailed understanding of SDIAT's participation in international major scientific projects, the construction of a world-leading cosmic ray public science database, and a series of breakthrough achievements made in the research on the origin of cosmic rays. They fully affirmed SDIAT's breakthrough achievements in the field of basic research.

At the symposium, the two parties conducted in-depth discussions on promoting the transformation of scientific research achievements and data opening. They unanimously agreed to thoroughly implement the innovation-driven development strategy, give full play to their respective advantages, strengthen coordination and cooperation, establish and improve a long-term cooperation mechanism, jointly explore new paths and models for in-depth integration of industry, university and research, further deepen exchanges and cooperation, jointly create a new situation in scientific and technological innovation, and make greater contributions to the country's economic and social development.
